Treating Erectile Dysfunction in XCell-Center

Stem cells hold the potential to change into new tissue that replaces damaged nerves or arteries, which allows the penis to become erect. The erectile dysfunction therapy procedure at X-Cell Center uses autologous adult stem cells. Autologous cells are collected from the patient’s own bone marrow. Because the injected cells come from the patient, there is little or no chance of an immune reaction, as can happen in response to treatment with stem cells provided by a donor.

A couple of days before treatment, stem cells are isolated from bone marrow taken from your iliac crest (the hip bone). The stem cells are processed in one of our labs and then tested for quantity and quality, before being injected into the patient.
