About EmCell Clinic
The EmCell Clinic was founded in 1994. Since then, thousands of patients from around the world have received embryonic stem cell treatment there. Work with embryonic cell suspensions starts with the safe, timely, and ethically-approved collection of high-quality embryonic material. Embryonic cell cultures are then prepared and put into sterile containers. Next, the safety and viability of the suspensions are tested. Programmed cryopreservation of cell transplants follows. Defrosted suspensions of embryonic cell are again tested for safety and viability before their use. Embryonic cell suspensions can be stored in cryobanks for long-term storage.
The embryonic stem cells used at EmCell are non-specialized cells that have the ability to differentiate into any other types of cell. These cells can form various organs and tissues. Using embryonic/fetal stem cells provides two advantages. These cells have great differentiation and proliferation potential and they are not rejected by the body of the recipient.
