About Intervention Hospital of Shandong Red Cross Society
The Intervention Hospital of Shandong Red Cross Society is a large hospital integrating health care and scientific research. The hospital has established a relationship with the Harvard Medical School, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Peking University First Hospital, National Academy of Military Medical Sciences, and Royal Danish School of Medicine.
In 2003, the first large stem cell laboratory and research and development base was formed: The Neural Stem Cell Therapy Center. Shandong Red Cross Society introduced the use of an advanced neural stem cell transplantation technique the from Republic of Korea, the VSEL technique from Harvard University and the Mesenchymal Stem Cell Technique from the China Military Academy. Specialists in the hospital worked out a series of scientific diagnosis and treatment systems, which have been considering efficient methods of clinical treatment.
The central laboratory is equipped for neural stem cell separation, purification, differentiation, and amplification in vitro. Moreover, Shandong Red Cross Society is devoted to establishing and improving standards, specifications, and systems for clinical application. To date, they have treated over 700 patients.
Advantages of the Shandong Neural Stem Cell Therapy Center
1. A solid background of neural stem cells. The hospital has specialized in the neural stem cell transplantation therapy for almost 10 years. The specialists in their center are world famous. Additionally, they practice the most advanced research techniques.
2. Our laboratory is has a strictly sterile environment and standard operation environment.
3. High quality neural stem cells. The NSCs cultured in thie center are sufficient in number and are of a high purity and activation. They can proliferate exponentially and maintain their stable biological and therapeutic features.
4. Excellent transplantation security. Our NSCs show low immunogenicity. The cells do not trigger rejection b they immune system following transplantation. In addition, neural stem cells differentiate into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, thus, cause no tumors after transplantation.
5. No side effects. 90 percent of patients showed good treatment results, and no side effects were detected.
