Beike Biotechnology Opens First Chinese Rehabilitation Center in Romania
Beike Biotechnology, one of the world's foremost stem cell companies, opened Romania's first rehabilitation center in Campina. The center, which is Beike’s first stand-alone facility, is slated to use traditional Chinese rehabilitation techniques. Physical rehabilitation – utilized by leading hospitals throughout China - is a key component of Beike's stem cell therapy protocols.
The new center provides acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, physiotherapy, electrotherapy, and medical exercise techniques on patients with illnesses such as ataxia, cardiovascular disease, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and autoimmune disorders.
The center will also focus on long-term data collection to determine the effectiveness of stem cell treatments together with rehabilitation as compared to rehabilitation alone.
The center’s director, Iordache Razvan, first heard about Beike Biotech after suffering a spinal cord injury in 1995. After 11 years of therapy in his native Romania, Razvan decided in 2006 on treatment at a Chinese hospital that used Beike stem cells. He returned for four more treatments. He experienced remarkable changes in his abilities.
Wanting to help others, Iordache Razvan decided to bring Beike’s treatment protocols home to Romania. He realised that not only were the stem cells helping him, but the Chinese rehabilitation therapy also enhanced his progress. He wanted his fellow countrymen to receive similar treatment without travelling abroad.
