My Story:

Josephine Stramiello has had Alzheimer’s disease for 12 years. She was taking Aricept and gradually losing her ability to remember names, dates, and current information or think clearly. She took part in a drug study and that helped to some degree.
It was Josephine’s daughter Laura and son Joseph who heard about Stem Cell treatments at the XCell-Center. Josephine had her first Stem Cell treatment in 2008 and her second treatment seven months later in 2009.
Experience at the Clinic
Josephine found Germany to be a wonderful place with warm and friendly people. The transportation that was provided by the X-Cell Center was very efficient. The facility in Cologne was extremely clean and the staff hospitable and cordial.
The stem cell procedure was performed by very competent doctors. She got this impression by how they explained the procedure to her. They addressed all of her concerns, giving her and her family a safe feeling.
Results
Even though her short-term memory improved only slightly, she has since retained many skills, such as dressing, putting on makeup, reading, identifying numbers, pictures, and some writing with supervision. Josephine can still converse, although she has trouble finding some words. She still helps prepare dinner and folds laundry. She makes her bed and walks everyday. Josephine believes that the Stem Cell treatment slowed the progression of her deterioration. It has given her more time with her family.
