My Story:
Before contacting TheraVitae, the makers of VesCell, Richard Rzaca was a dying man. He was suffering from coronary artery disease, ischemic cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, and angina. Richard suffered an almost fatal heart attack in 2003. His condition had been deteriorating ever since. Richard described himself “a dying horse.” He said his color was gray, he couldn’t walk anywhere, and he was completely worn out. Richard’s ejection fraction (a measure of heart pumping ability) was at 25%.
Richard’s doctors had already performed bypasses, inserted stents, and prescribed medications for his condition. Now they told him there was nothing more they could do. He was out of options.
